This new “Disney On Ice” production brings “Inside Out” to the ice for the first time alongside beloved characters from “Toy Story,” “Frozen,” “Finding Dory” and more. The show begins this week at Allstate Arena before moving to the United Center in February.
Begins Jan. 27
More than 300 restaurants are participating in the 10th annual Chicago Restaurant Week, when Cindy’s will offer a three-course lunch; Ada Street will serve favorites of presidents including George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Barack Obama; and Chez Moi will honor Julia Child. Plus, prix fixe brunch menus will be offered for the first time this year.
Opens Jan. 27
Anne Loucks Gallery’s newest exhibit, “Midwest Landscapes,” will open Jan. 27 and run through March 31. The exhibit features 35 paintings by Rodger Bechtold and Mary Jo O’Gara. Both artists will be at the gallery for an opening reception on Jan. 28 from 5-7 p.m.

Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership’s Sunday Cinema film series returns this weekend and continues Sundays through Feb. 19. This mini film festival will showcase Jewish films that were shot in Ukraine, Jerusalem, New York and Kansas City.
- The 20th Annual Aon Step Up for Kids will be held Jan. 29, when participants will race to the top of Aon Center to raise money for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
