Gordon Salon in Glenview, Highland Park, Lakeview and Wilmette will host a “trashion” show to benefit the Alliance for the Great Lakes. Outfits will be created by Gordon Salon stylists with recycled materials. The event will also include food, raffles, live music and more.

Earth Day Celebration

Discover how Earth Day is celebrated around the world at this Emily Oaks Nature Center event. Plus, guests will be able to purchase Earth-friendly food and native wildflowers and grasses.

Party for the Planet

Brookfield Zoo is also celebrating Earth Day with a Zoo Chat about rhino’s, tree and flower planting, an Eco Expo, giveaways and more. You can also bring items like cell phones, bicycles, coats, basketballs and more for recycling. Find a complete list of accepted items here.
