It’s a kids versus adults showdown at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago this month. Kids and grown-ups will build their best LEGO creations in five minutes. A Master Model Builder will choose the winner, who will score a point for their favorite participating charity: Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana, Easterseals, After School Matters or Big Brothers Big Sisters. The charity with the most points at the end of the month will receive 40,000 LEGO bricks and the other charities will receive 20,000 bricks.

Start Your Weekend Early

  • On Thursday, July 20, Market Square in Lake Forest will host its 16th annual Classic Car Show. The event is free, but donations are appreciated and will go toward melanoma research.
