The Children’s Service Board (CSB), an affiliated organization of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, is pleased to announce the 62nd Annual Gold Coast Fashion Award Show, (GCFAS), taking place at Revel Fulton Market in Chicago’s West Loop, Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. This year, the GCFAS also is presenting its inaugural “Children’s Service Board Award of Excellence,” to American Designer Pamella Roland, who was the GCFAS’ winning designer in 2003 and who continues to embody the Children’s Service Board’s unwavering commitment to excellence in philanthropy and service.
The evening will kick-off with an elegant cocktail reception featuring hors d’oeuvres from Chicago hot-spots including Le Colonial, Rockit Ranch Productions, Lou Malnati’s and many more. The cocktail reception will be followed by a fashion presentation from the GCFAS’ long-time partner and sole retail sponsor, Neiman Marcus. Models will walk the runway, showcasing the latest fashions, including looks from Roland’s collection, which will debut at the luxury specialty store this fall.
The evening’s excitement will come to a close with a live auction featuring items from Tesla, Hamilton Musical and Boka Restaurant Group, followed by dessert bites from some of Chicago’s favorite sweet shops including Glazed and Infused and Sweet Mandy B’s.
