Brunching with Flowers for Dreams

Chicago-based flower company, Flowers for Dreams, creates organic, locally crafted bouquets. Every bouquet sold benefits a nonprofit in the Chicago community, and since launching in 2012, the company has raised over $194,000. Sourced ethically and crafted locally, Flowers for Dreams sells beautifully simple bouquets online for delivery, weddings, and events throughout Chicago and Milwaukee. The company was named one of Business Insider’s 20 Most Inspiring Companies in America and Instagram for Business’ 6 Brands to Follow on Instagram. On Saturday, March 25 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., a floral designer from Flowers for Dreams will teach a floral arranging workshop at Travelle Kitchen + Bar, a casually elegant restaurant, lounge, and bar featuring Chef Ricardo Jarquin’s seasonal American cuisine. Class participants put together an assortment of flowers to create unique and beautiful arrangements. The class includes all necessary tools and flowers, and after students learn techniques and create their bouquet, they enjoy brunch from Chef Ricardo. Brunch includes a choice of: Chicken and Waffles, Black Bass, Florentine Benedict, or Cobb Salad.
