Operation Finale: The Capture & Trial of Adolf Eichmann (open Feb 19 – June 18) explores the secret history behind bringing one of the most notorious Nazi war criminals of the 20th century to justice.
It has been awhile since the Museum has hosted such an immersive exhibition. “Spies and espionage” aficionados will be mesmerized by the pre-digital/pre-DNA methods used for the dangerous, covert mission to capture Eichmann. The original bulletproof glass booth from which Eichmann testified as the courtroom drama was broadcast around the globe, is on display. The booth is surrounded on three sides by projected testimonies, recreating the trial itself and making the visitor feel like a courtroom eyewitness.
