Chicago (July 10, 2017) – The Woman’s Board of Rush University Medical Center will host its inaugural Fall Benefit – GLOW, on Friday, November 3, 2017. This new fundraiser will celebrate the Board’s 133-year history of making a difference in the community and shine a light on the board’s work at Rush University Medical Center. The cocktail reception and seated dinner will take place in the beautiful settings of Terzo Piano and Griffin Court, located in The Art Institute of Chicago, Modern Wing. Following dinner, guests may tour the gallery featuring the European Modern Collections on the 3rd floor and enjoy post dinner entertainment. Funds raised at GLOW will support the Board’s $450,000 pledge to develop and implement Rush’s School- Based Mental Health Program. Accessible through Rush’s School-Based Health Clinics, this program will provide mental health screenings and treatments for children, as well as a support network for families, front-line community members and first responders. This innovative program will have a lasting impact on Chicago and its residents, improving the well-being of hundreds of children and their families in Chicago’s West side neighborhoods.
