The Midwest Regional Office of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF will host its 10th annual Hope Gala to raise more than $1 million for UNICEF’s work for children around the world. This year also marks UNICEF’s 70th anniversary of putting children first — each and every child, no matter where they live — and the anniversary will guide the overall theme of the evening.
The event will take place at The Geraghty and feature a silent auction and raffle, seated dinner, live auction and entertainment from Ken Arlen Evolution Orchestra.
UNICEF Inspired Gifts — actual needed items that can be purchased and go directly to help children in need in developing countries — will be available for purchase at the event. Examples include: an emergency tent, anti-malarial bed nets and therapeutic food, among others.
The U.S. Fund for UNICEF has a $1 million fundraising goal for this year’s UNICEF’s Hope Gala. UNICEF works in more than 190 countries and territories to put children first, and has helped save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization.
