Be inspired by more than 50 “Upstanders” from around the world who are working to defend human rights at this new Illinois Holocaust Museum exhibit. The photographic exhibit is based on the book “Speak Truth to Power: Human Rights Defenders Who Are Changing Our World” by Kerry Kennedy and features images by Pulitzer Prize-winner Eddie Adams. Kennedy will deliver keynote remarks at the grand opening event on Feb. 4 at 1 p.m.

This popular Vincenzo Bellini opera about star-crossed lovers will open at Lyric Opera of Chicago with Grammy nominee Lawrence Brownlee and Albina Shagimuratova.
