The Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center’s 2017 Humanitarian Awards Dinner on March 8 raised more than $2.5 million for the educational mission of the museum. Almost 2,000 people attended the event, which honored Dr. Richard A. Chaifetz, founder, chairman and CEO of ComPsych Corporation; and E. Scott Santi, chairman and CEO of ITW. Former First Lady Laura Bush served as keynote speaker in conversation with J.B. Pritzker. Governor Bruce Rauner and Mayor Rahm Emanuel also spoke at the event.
