The kids are back in school and generally on schedule, and you’re back into a rhythm at the office and planning out Q4. How do you give it your all even when the reality is, you need a break? Try these tips to stay strong:
1. Set some time aside every day to invest in your own well-being. Ideally, this would be related to breathing or meditation exercises. Anything to get you out of the rhythm of your day in a healthy way will reinvigorate you when you return to your regular routine.
2. Tune into your body’s energy patterns. Your body can tell you what it needs for energy based on how you feel after eating certain foods. If this is a new concept, begin to notice patterns in your mood and motivation after snacks and meals.
3. Hydrate. Without the summer heat, it’s easy to forget about drinking water. Challenge yourself to increase your water intake and notice how your body operates more efficiently.
4. Get some sleep; this is especially important for women. Draw a line on your day’s activities so you can prioritize the amount of sleep you get and the quality of your sleep.
