Festival season rolls along with a wine festival at Lincoln Park Zoo, a food truck festival outside Wrigley Field, an art festival in Glencoe, and a fest all about Bloody Marys in Highwood. Plus, shop vintage and modern goods in Chicago.
Lincoln Park Zoo’s annual wine festival returns with more than 35 varieties of wine, food (available to purchase), live music, guided garden tours, and more.
Sample delicious fare from food trucks like Da Lobsta, La Cocinita, CheSa’s Gluten Free, and Smoke Daddy, enjoy lawn games, watch the Cubs take on the Cardinals on the videoboard, and more at Gallagher Way outside Wrigley Field. The event is free, but a $5 donation will not only get you two food sample vouchers, but will also benefit Folds of Honor.
In addition to paintings, photos, jewelry, and more works of art from 110-plus juried artists, this festival, now in its 10th year, will feature kids activities, artist demos, live music, and more.
Shop both vintage and modern goods from more than 300 vendors at this weekend’s Randolph Street Market, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2018. This weekend’s theme is Tropical Punch, so you’ll also find the Summer House, with sea shells and art from artists around the world, a Bloody Mary Station, live entertainment, and more.
Sip on delicious (and inventive!) Bloody Marys from more than 15 vendors competing for the title of Best Bloody Mary in the Midwest (our very own Susan Noyes will be a judge!). Plus, enjoy live music, food, and artisan vendors.
