Paulette Leffler and Jaime Leonardi have always dreamed about opening their own shop in order to share their love of unique finds and gift giving.
So, in late November, this mother-daughter team opened Stumble & Relish. “Evanston has so many great shops, particularly in our neighborhood, [and] we wanted to compliment the surrounding businesses,” Jaime says. “I think what makes us different is we focus on small independent crafts people & we try to carry local artists.”
Jaime adds that she and her mother love items with a story. That’s why you’ll find Kenn Neely necklaces that are made with polished rocks from Evanston beaches, Lichen & Moss artwork that uses salvaged wood from demolished Detroit houses, and Red Feather Studio glass pendant necklaces created by a Forest Park artist.
